The Lastest information from Talk Show America
Good Morning Folks,
As you read this Operation Iraqi Freedom is still pressing forward. Pray for our troops as this operation continues. Also, folks, please be patient, I hear a lot of rhetoric from citizens about how long is this going to take, how much is this going to cost, etc. We have to do this right! It will minimize the loss of life both military and civilian if we take the time to conduct Operation Iraqi Freedom with patience, precision, and courage. Our brave men and women from the U.S., Britain, and Australia, along with some other countries who either don't want to be mentioned or cannot be mentioned, our doing an excellent job so far. Thousands of Iraqi soldiers are surrendering with little or no fight at all. Citizens of Iraq are welcoming with open arms, coalition forces.
The Iraqi propoganda machine is also still at work, but we will silence them when the time comes. The hardest battle of all is soon coming , the battle for Baghdad, this will not be easy by any means, unless the Iraqi's surrender totally. I don't see this happening. But pray folks, it is still a possibilty.
I am saddened by the loss of lives in the coalition forces albeit that they are low. It is still tragic.
I support the President in this conflict that should have been done in 1991, but thanks to the U.N., which still continues to be an obstruction, here we are again. Lets hope this will be over soon, but lets not rush things and get coalition forces killed for nothing. Let the Generals do their job as the President is doing.
