Kerry Raps Pope: Senator Fuming Over Gay Marriage Order !
__________________________________________________

Senator Kerry is telling the Vatican to stay out of U.S. politics. Yesterday, Kerry said that the pope "crossed the line" by instructing politicains to block legalization of gay marriage!

A fuming Kerry attacking his own Catholic Church while campaigning for President, said Rome should have more respect for America's long held seperation of church and state.

Can you imagine this folks, number one, did Kerry ever consider that there are about 65 million Catholic voters? Did he even consider that the Pope can only suggest and plead with politicians to vote against gay marriage, not instruct them. (As I'm sure that is exactly what happened).

What about the fact that the Pope and of course the church representatives in this country have a right to free speech under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution ! They can oppose gay marriage all day long ! Has Kerry gone Loco !

The Vatiacn sent a letter to Catholic politicians stating " The Catholic lawmaker has a moral duty to express his opposition to gay marriage laws, clearly and publicy, and to vote against it." To vote in favor of a law so harmful to the common good is gravely immoral".

Now that doesn't sound any different than a letter you or I might send to the politicians as taxpayers and registered voters demanding that our representatives vote gainst some law. That is our right to do so.

In that letter I didn't see anything stating that your church memebership would be revoked, or God will get you or the Pope will disown you if you don't vote gay marriages illegal. It merely suggests that the Catholic politician stay the course of his religious beliefs in his or her decision. It is ludicrous to suugest that it is anything but.

Kerry should stop trying to interfere in the rights of others to FREE SPEECH in this country just because he doen't agree with it
