The speaker, supposedly Ayman al-Zawahri, the
Egyptian-born doctor and deranged deputy to the
malevolent Osama bin Laden, exhorts Muslims to not
wait any longer, "or we will be devoured one country
after the other."

"The youth must not wait for anyone and must begin
resisting from now, and take experience and lessons
from Iraq and Afghanistan and Chechnya."

Besides the cowardice of an older man sending young
Muslims to die in vain for an evil cause, what stands
out in that statement? Clearly, one of the world's top
terrorists is admitting that the invasion of
Afghanistan and Iraq are hurting terrorists.

President Bush has been widely condemned for his
decision to go into Iraq. Sen. John Kerry summed it up
for critics when said about a month ago that it was
the "wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Yet Zawahri is saying that the wars in Afghanistan and
Iraq are part of a devouring of terrorists, "one
country after the other."

The mainstream media say Iraq is a mess. No, it is a
war zone, and while too many innocents are being
killed, the U.S. is making progress against terror.

On Friday, American troops killed roughly 100
terrorists in the town of Samarra. This follows an
offensive in Talafar in the middle of September and
precedes the other operations that will be necessary
to make the entire country safe. Despite media reports
of a quagmire, the coalition is methodically taking
out the enemy.

Bush said in Thursday night's debate that he hoped he
doesn't have to go into any other countries to hunt
down terrorists. We hold the same hope.

But it's obvious that if it's necessary to do so,
moving country by country is a winning strategy. The
terrorists recognize this even if the media and Bush's
political opponents don't.
