56% Oppose Any More Government Help For Banks
While the Obama Administration is pledging up to $2.5 trillion in support for the troubled U.S. financial system, 56% of Americans oppose giving bankers any additional government money or any guarantees backed by the government.

75% Oppose Nationalization of U.S. Banks

All sorts of big government solutions are being proposed to combat the country's economic troubles, but Americans are clear on one thing: 75% say the federal government should not take over the U.S. banking system.

67% Say They Could Do a Better Job on the Economy than Congress
When it comes to the nation's economic issues, 67% of U.S. voters have more confidence in their own judgment than they do in the average member of Congress.

Following Geithner Presentation, Consumer Confidence Falls to Record Low

The Rasmussen Consumer Index, which measures the economic confidence of consumers on a daily basis, fell to a new record low for the second straight day on Thursday. Just two days after Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's presentation of the White House financial rescue plan, the Consumer Index fell to 56.2, surpassing the all-time low set the day before.

Only 26% Think Country Headed in Right Direction

Twenty-six percent (26%) of American voters say the nation is moving in the right direction, while 66% say it is heading down the wrong track, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Most Americans Expect Economic Plans To Waste Money

Fifty-two percent (52%) of Americans say it is very likely that a large amount of taxpayer money in the proposed bank bailout plan and the new economic recovery plan will be wasted, due to inadequate oversight by the government.

On Economic Issues, Voter Trust in Democrats Is Falling
Democrats are still trusted more than Republicans to handle the economy by a 44% to 39% margin, but their advantage on the issue has been slipping steadily since November. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of likely voters found 17% are not sure which party they trust more to handle the economy, showing no change since the last poll conducted a month ago.

These numbers speak for themselves, folks. Rasmussen Reports is a highly respected polling agency and is not partisan in anyway. Looks to me like the walls are tumbling down on Obama's facade.

You won't hear any of this from the Main Stream News Media that's for sure !
